




The Train
The train itself is made by duralumin, which is an alloy of aluminium, made to be strong as steel and as light as aluminium. It has been used in aircraft and spacecrafts such as the Boeing and ISS(International Space Station).
Due to its body light weight, we decided to make it fully electrical, powered by maglev. As maglev is used by trains in countries such as Japan and Germany, it is proven that maglev can shorten the time for long distances trip at its speed. By achieving this speed, these magnets must levitate by creating lift without contact against the ground.
As it has its potential, our team decided to make the train travel even faster than the current ones. By replacing traditional rail tracks with tube shaped like tunnel.Therefore, putting the "pill" into the tube will be much easier and faster due to its aerodynamic design; reducing frictions between the ground and the pill shapes that denies air friction when it's moving.
By means, it is calculated to reduce the time by 20-30% from its current competitors and estimate to sustain over 400 passengers.Finally, the train tube will reduce spaces and resources used such as concrete by significant number; will be more futuristic looking than current urban ones.
